Miller Industries Celebrates Manufacturing Day!
For the third consecutive year, Miller Industries proudly celebrated Manufacturing Day on Friday, October 2.
Manufacturing Day is an annual nationwide event led by the Manufacturing Institute, a part of the National Association of Manufacturers Workforce Institute. The event highlights the importance of manufacturing and the exciting career opportunities available across the industry.
Each year, manufacturers across the country open their doors to students, educators, parents, and community leaders, providing a firsthand look at the innovation, technology, and people driving modern manufacturing forward. Manufacturing Day gives students an opportunity to explore rewarding career paths, learn about the many opportunities available in the industry, and gain a better understanding of the skills needed for the future of manufacturing.
Inspiring the Next Generation of Manufacturing Professionals
This year, Miller Industries welcomed approximately 60 students from Lake Fenton, Holly, Linden, and Fenton High Schools to our facilities for a day of learning, exploration, and connection.
The students began the day by learning about the history of Miller Industries and the company’s role in the manufacturing industry. Students continued their visit with a tour of both campus facilities, getting an up-close look at our operations and the people behind the products we manufacture.

Throughout the day, students also had the opportunity to learn more about the wide variety of careers available at Miller Industries. During interactive roundtable discussions, Miller employees shared their experiences and insights across a range of roles, from skilled trades such as welding, construction assembly, and electrical work to professional careers in engineering, project management, sales, and other areas of the business.
The day concluded with a networking lunch, giving students the chance to connect with employees, ask questions, and learn more about potential career opportunities.
Looking Toward the Future
Manufacturing Day was a day filled with learning, exploration, and meaningful conversations about the future of manufacturing. They are grateful to the students, educators, and staff who joined them and brought their curiosity and enthusiasm to the event.
Miller Industries believes that investing in the next generation is an important part of building the future for manufacturing. They look forward to continuing to introduce students to the rewarding careers, innovative technologies, and opportunities that make manufacturing such an exciting industry to be a part of.
Miller Industries thanks everyone who helped make this year’s Manufacturing Day a success!
